Limestone. The suite is represented by layered and massive light and dark gray limestones, in which three horizons are distinguished: Dalian, Isfarinsky, and Kunjak (дальянский, исфаринский и кунжакский). These horizons within the area of development of the Matchayskaya Suite are considered as sub-suites.
The Dalian horizon is characterized by thick-bedded and massive limestones with rare packets of clayey limestones. The Isfarinsky horizon is usually composed of thin-bedded clayey limestone. The Kunjak horizon is most often represented by thin-bedded clayey and sometimes silicified limestones.
